Waduk Bajulmati yang ada di perbatasan antara Banyuwangi dan Situbondo ini memiliki luas sebesar 98,43 km persegi dan mampu Pantaiteluk hijau atau Green Bay terletak di dalam area Taman nasional Meru Betiri, Sarongan-Pesanggrahan. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, kota Banyuwangi telah mengembangankan banyak Tempat-tempat wisata. Masyarakat kota Banyuwangi berlomba-lomba mengembangkan Destinasi wisata wilayahnya masing-masing untuk meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung dan sekaligus perekonomian mereka. Masyarakat berlomba-lomba mengambil peran untuk berkembangnya pariwisata kota Banyuwangi. Banyuwangi memiliki banyak destinasi wisata alam dan wisata pantai yang menarik untuk dikunjungi. Tidak heran, jika butuh waktu berhari-hari untuk bisa mengeksplore keindahan wisata Banyuwangi. Lokasi Pantai Teluk Hijau Salah satu Wisata pantai Banyuwangi yang banyak dikunjungi adalah Pantai Teluk Ijo atau Teluk Hijau atau Green Bay Banyuwangi. Teluk hijau disebut juga sebagai Surga yang tersembunyi. Karena, lokasinya tertutup bukit dan harus melewati hutan untuk sampai di pantai yang indah ini. Disarankan untuk datang di saat hari-hari kerja, sehingga pengunjung bisa menikmati pantai teluk ijo dengan lebih leluasa. Lokasi Teluk Hijau ada di desa Sarongan kecamatan Pesanggaran. Jaraknya sekitar 90 kilo meter dari Banyuwangi atau 26 km dari Pesanggaran. Bisa ditempuh kurang lebih 3 jam dari Banyuwangi. Untuk bisa mengakses Teluk Hijau, Pengunjung bisa menggunakan kendaraan pribadi / mobil keluarga hingga Desa Sarongan, kemudian harus berganti jeep atau trooper untuk sampai di pintu masuk teluk Ijo. Karena jalur yang dilewati berbatu lumayan terjal. Yang menarik lagi, sepanjang jalan memasuki Desa Sarongan, Pengujung akan dimanjakan dengan pemandangan perkebunan karet, cokelat dan tebu. Karena Desa Sarongan termasuk di kawasan perkebunan Kandang Lembu. Jalannya sudah diaspal, sehingga mudah dijangkau mungkin hanya beberapa kilo meter saja yang belum di Aspal. Untuk memasuki daerah ini, pengunjung wajib lapor. Trek Menuju Pantai Teluk Hijau Dari parkir mobil, pengunjung akan memasuki jalan setapak. Dari atas pengunjung bisa menikmati keindahan pantai sebelum turun menuju pantai lewat celah pepohonan. Kemudian, Pengunjung akan berjalan sekitar 45 menit dengan jalan menurun dan bertanah. Jadi pengunjung harus hati-hati karena jalan licin. Meskipun begitu, ada tambang-tambang yang disediakan untuk pengunjung agar bisa berpegangan dan tidak terjatuh. Sesampainya di bawah, pengunjung akan disajikan dengan pantai yang tidak berpasir tetapi berbatu. Sepanjang garis pantai adalah batu-batu menghiasi sepanjang pantai. Pengunjung masih harus berjalan di sepanjang garis pantai sekitar kurang lebih 1 kilo meter ,hingga sampai ke bukit kecil. Meskipun jalannya terlihat mudah, namun pengunjung harus memiliki stamina yang cukup untuk bisa sampai ke Teluk Hijau. Begitu sampai pada bukit/tebing di ujung pantai, ada sebuah gang masuk diantara semak. Barulah pengunjung memasuki semak tersebut, Pengunjung pasti akan berdecak kagum begitu memasuki area pantai teluk Hijau. Jika pengunjung tidak memiliki energi yang cukup atau kondisi tubuh yang tidak optimal. Pengunjung bisa menggunakan akses laut, yakni menggunakan perahu nelayan yang bisa diakses melalui pantai mustika atau pulau merah. Namun, pastikan cuaca juga sedang bagus ya. Keindahan Pantai Teluk Hijau Pengunjung akan disajikan dengan pemandangan yang super istimewa begitu memasuki kawasan pantai. Yakni tebing yang cantik dengan ketinggian sekitar 7-9 meter, laut dengan gradasi warna biru tosca hingga biru tua, pasir putih yang lembut, deburan ombak dan hutan hijau yang mengelilingi area pantai. Begitulah pengunjung akan menemukan surga yang tersembunyi. Pengunjung akan betah berlama-lama berada di pantai . Namun tidak disarankan untuk berenang terlalu jauh bagi yang tidak bisa berenang, karena arus bawah cukup deras. Pengunjung juga bisa memancing bersama nelayan dan membakar ikan di tepi pantai, juga berkemah di pinggir pantai. namun tentu saja harus menggunakan jasa travel Agent yang mengkoordinir kegiatan pengunjung.
